Chote Networks

Network design & software development

About us

Chote Networks has been the business name used by Daniel Chote since he started work on his first major software development project ("Rival Messenger") back in 2000. Now that Daniel is focusing his efforts on software development for others, it seemed like the natural name to use.

Daniel gained a lot of his technical experience during his time associated with Singlesnet.com and The Hive, where he helped scale Singlesnet.com to over 500,000 unique visitors per day. With a well-rounded "soup to nuts" attitude towards technical implementation, Daniel managed both the network engineering and software development sides of the company.

At Chote Networks, we follow the agile development process. Agile development provides usable products quickly, building iteratively towards the end goal of the entire project. Agile puts the emphasis on building and doing, this emphasis gets actual product feedback to the developer before he has finished the entire project. The benefits of doing this are tremendous. In particular, it means you will not end up with a product unlike the one you were expecting after months of development and thousands of dollars.
